Enduring to the End
Enduring to the End
Jesus instructed His followers in (Matt. 7:15) to beware of False prophets and He stated later in Matthew 24 when teaching about the last days that many would appear deceiving many. (Matt. 24:11) Many are teaching today that the second return of Jesus will be before the tribulation and Christians won’t have to endure or go through the tribulation of the last days. This is referred to as the pre& mid-trib rapture belief. Since this is ear tickling and feel good news it is accepted by many uninformed Christians. It is however, interesting to note that Jesus taught that those that endure to the end would be Saved.(Matt. 10:22 &24:13). He also said that His return would Not be until the end of the Great Ttribulation. (Matt. 24: 29-31).
This teaching stresses the Importance of Christians to being prepared to be faithful a witnesses under great persecution as warned by Jesus in
(Matt. 24:21 and prophesied by John in (Rev. 13:11-18). It is important to understand that this Tribulation period is from The Antichrist and is Not The Wrath of God upon the unbelieving world that will follow. Believers will escape this as promised in (Rom. 5:8-9) God’s Wrath is for the children of dis-obedience. (Col. 3:5-6)
Christians will have to make a choice when the time comes that is described in Rev 13:11-18. If you refuse the mark life will be hard and may even end in death but God has promised to sustain you and greatly reward you for your perseverance. Taking the mark will bring some temporary physical relief in difficult times but refusing it will bring you total relief and Glorification Forever because you will get the Seal of God in your forehead (Rev. 7:3) and live with Him in His Kingdom FOREVER.
Those that go through Tribulation will stand before the Throne of God, will serve Him in His Temple and enjoy being in the presence of God FOREVER (Rev. 7:9-15).
With this truth in mind it would be smart to prepare yourself for the worst on this earth before the salvation from the wrath of God on an unregenerate and unbelieving world that comes in the Rapture that will take us to be with the Lord forever. ( I Thess. 4: 16-17). Paul in I Thess. 5:21 instructs that we should prove All things and we should hold on to that which is good.
While you wait you have an assured hope that will allow you to
While you live
If you have ever walked through a cemetery you have seen RIP at the top of every tomb stone.
RIP is the acronym for Rest In Peace. Living in a world of confusion, caos and frustration it makes this impossible to experience, unless you know a little known secret that is available to Every One but enjoyed by very few. This chaos has plagued mankind every since sin entered into the perfect world that God created . God made it easy for the first couple to enjoy sinless perfection and perfect peace if they did Not break the one law that He had given them to live by. God also gave this sinless perfection to His heavenly creatures but many of them, influenced by Lucifer chose to rebel against God and God could NOT allow this so He expelled them from heaven and they fell to His perfect earth. If I could ever think that God made a mistake it would be in giving His heavenly and earthly creation the ability to make a choice. Today it is known as free will. God did not want a world of robots but one with creatures that would be willing to follow His perfect plan and Rest in Peace as they lived on earth. This peace was promised by God and made known to the world by the prophet Isaiah when he under the inspiration of God penned these words; “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah (26:3) In order to rest in this perfect peace of God you must have established peace with God by exercising saving faith in His Son Jesus that told all that believe in Him that His peace would be given to them. (Jn. 14:27) This was conveyed by Paul in his message to the Philippians and All that believe now .
“ And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:27)
You can Rest in Peace while you live in the physical if you are connected to the peace maker and peace giver. A dedicated prayer life will keep you in contact with Him as you enjoy His Perfect Peace.
